Video: So, do you make megabucks in radio?

You wake up at 4.17am, never get a chance to wash your hair before leaving the house, and if you wanted to be paid well, you'd do better to look at a job in sales.

But being a radio producer on 103.7 The Mountain affords you a "minor celebrity status" in Seattle, says Lee Calahan in a Payscale.com video about what it takes to get into radio, and what it's like.

"When I first started this job, the first six months, I woke up every morning and cried, 'What have I done? It's 4:17am, I’m so miserable.' But I got used to it, and I’ve had the morning show radio producer job for 6 years now."
